The Atlanta Braves’ farm system looked thin not long ago. Now, thanks to a series of strong drafts, international signings, and player development successes, the organization suddenly finds itself loaded with intriguing young talent. The results are becoming impossible to ignore in 2026, as several prospects are putting together seasons that make a compelling case for promotions.

A few of the names are already familiar to Braves fans, while others have emerged from relative obscurity. Regardless of pedigree, these four prospects have earned serious consideration for a move up the ladder.

Luis Guanipa has been one of the biggest standouts in the system this year. The outfielder is thriving with Low-A Augusta, posting a .313/.356/.527 slash line and an .883 OPS through 45 games. His production has come from all areas of his game, collecting 57 hits with nine doubles, three triples, and eight home runs while driving in 31 runs.

What makes Guanipa especially intriguing is the combination of contact ability and speed. He has stolen 22 bases while striking out just 21 times. The only area that could use improvement is his walk rate, as he has drawn only 11 free passes. Even so, his overall performance suggests he has little left to prove at Low-A. A promotion to High-A Rome would provide a much better test of where he stands in his development.

Tate Southisene entered professional baseball carrying significant expectations as Atlanta’s top selection in the 2025 MLB Draft. So far, he has done nothing but justify the hype. The shortstop is batting .297 with a .436 on-base percentage and a .488 slugging percentage over 46 games.

Southisene has already accumulated 51 hits, including seven home runs, while stealing an impressive 35 bases. His ability to reach base consistently and create havoc once he gets there has made him one of the most exciting players in the system. Ranked as Atlanta’s third-best prospect, he looks fully prepared for a promotion to High-A Rome.

A Breakout Braves Performer Nobody Saw Coming

Eric Hartman has arguably been the biggest surprise in Atlanta’s minor league system. The Canadian prospect entered the season with very little fanfare but has quickly forced his way into prospect conversations across baseball. Through 44 games, Hartman owns a remarkable .302/.384/.610 slash line with 13 home runs, 12 doubles, one triple, and 36 RBI.

His rise has been fueled by a dramatic power surge, but there is more to his game than home runs. Hartman has also collected 22 walks and 17 stolen bases, showing a well-rounded offensive profile. After climbing to No. 19 in Atlanta’s prospect rankings, another jump seems inevitable if this production continues. A move to Double-A Columbus appears to be the logical next step.

An Underrated Prospect Making Noise

Another player quietly putting together an excellent season is outfielder Isaiah Drake. While he may not receive the same attention as some of Atlanta’s higher-ranked prospects, his production deserves recognition. Drake is slashing .285/.367/.462 with an .829 OPS through 45 games, adding nine doubles, eight home runs, and 15 stolen bases.

The former 2023 draft pick has demonstrated a valuable blend of power and speed. There is still room for improvement, particularly in reducing strikeouts, but the overall package is encouraging. A promotion to Double-A Columbus would offer an opportunity to see how his tools translate against more advanced competition.

The Braves have several prospects making noise throughout the organization, but these four stand out because of both their production and consistency. If they continue performing at this level, promotions may not be far away, and Atlanta’s farm system could look even stronger by the end of the season.
