Braves 2025 Moments: All-Star Game, Speedway Classic, Hall of Fame Inductions

Here are the key moments for the Braves in 2025, mark your calendars!

Buckle up, Atlanta Braves fans, because 2025 is shaping up to be a year packed with milestones, excitement, and plenty of history-making moments! Let’s take a stroll down the calendar to see what this season has in store.

The All-Star Game Returns to Atlanta

The All-Star Game Returns to Atlanta

Top billing goes to the long-awaited return of the Midsummer Classic. On July 15, the 95th MLB All-Star Game will light up Truist Park, marking Atlanta’s first time hosting the event since 2000.

This will be the third All-Star Game in Atlanta’s history, with previous editions held in 1972 at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium and 2000 at Turner Field.

Once the dust settles, all three of the Braves ballparks since their 1966 move to Atlanta will have hosted the big event.

This year’s All-Star Game feels extra special, especially after the disappointment of 2021 when the game was relocated to Denver in response to Georgia’s voter legislation.

But now, the stars will shine bright in Atlanta once again. Don’t forget the Home Run Derby on July 14—it’s sure to bring fireworks!

The Speedway Classic

If the All-Star Game isn’t enough, mark your calendars for August 2, when the Braves and Reds take baseball to new heights—or speeds—at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

Dubbed the 2025 MLB Speedway Classic, this unique event could set an attendance record with Bristol’s jaw-dropping 150,000-seat capacity.

For comparison, the current record is 115,000 fans at the Dodgers vs. Red Sox exhibition in 2008. Unlike that game, this one will feature a full, unchopped left-field corner, ensuring no funny business in the outfield dimensions.

Hall of Fame Dreams

By midseason, the Braves might have more Hall of Fame bragging rights. Andruw Jones, the five-time All-Star and ten-time Gold Glover, is inching closer to Cooperstown with 61.6% of votes. His rise from 7.3% in 2018 shows the momentum is real. Could 2025 be his year?

Billy Wagner, who briefly donned a Braves uniform, is even closer with 73.8% last year. While he may not go in as a Brave, Atlanta fans can still take pride in his potential induction.

Key Dates to Watch for Atlanta Braves Fans

The journey kicks off when pitchers and catchers report by February 14, and the first Spring Training game follows on February 22.

Mark your calendars for March 27, when the Braves open the regular season in San Diego, and circle April 4 for the home opener against Miami.

This year is a grand slam for Braves fans, from the All-Star Game to the Speedway Classic and a potential Hall of Fame induction. Let’s go, 2025!
