Glitz, glam, and a whole lot of giving back at Truist Park. On Friday night, Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson and his wife, Nicole, proved that baseball stars know how to make an impact off the field, too.
The couple hosted the third annual ReClif Community Diamond Casino Night at Truist Park, and trust me, this was no ordinary fundraiser. It was a black-tie event that combined the energy of Vegas with the heart of Atlanta, drawing over 400 guests for a night of fun, philanthropy, and full-on Braves spirit.
Partnership With the Atlanta Braves Foundation
In partnership with the Atlanta Braves Foundation, the event aimed to raise money for ReClif Community, a nonprofit near and dear to the Olsons’ hearts. ReClif focuses on supporting individuals and families affected by autism, making this not just a fancy evening but one with a deeply meaningful purpose. And with the star power of the Braves behind it, the turnout didn’t disappoint.
Guests were treated to an upscale casino experience featuring over 40 games—from blackjack to roulette—giving everyone a chance to try their luck while supporting a great cause. But it didn’t stop there. The night also featured unique experiences like a live watercolor painting session (yes, art in action!) and a photo booth to capture the glamorous memories.
One of the highlights? The silent and live auctions that had the crowd buzzing. Fans bid on everything from exclusive Braves memorabilia to local treasures and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. And let’s just say that when a golf outing with Matt Olson himself hit the auction block, the competition was fierce.
Of course, no Braves event would be complete without some familiar faces. Fellow teammates Ozzie Albies, Sean Murphy, and Spencer Strider were there to show their support, along with Coach Matt Tuiasosopo and former Braves player Luke Jackson. That kind of lineup felt like an all-star event on and off the field.
From the glamour of the evening to the good it’s doing for the autism community, the ReClif Community Diamond Casino Night was a grand slam of a fundraiser. It wasn’t just about rolling dice and dressing to the nines—it was about making a difference.
And thanks to Matt and Nicole Olson and the Braves family, the event succeeded in bringing people together for a cause that truly matters.
