The MLB All-Star Ballot is live, and with the 2025 Midsummer Classic headed to Atlanta, this one carries extra weight for Braves fans. Voting began Wednesday, June 4, at noon and will run through noon on June 26, kicking off a month-long sprint to send your favorite Braves to the national spotlight—this time, in their own backyard.

Each team gets a representative at every position, including three outfielders. The Atlanta Braves nine position players on this year’s ballot are:

  • 1B: Matt Olson
  • 2B: Ozzie Albies
  • 3B: Austin Riley
  • SS: Nick Allen
  • C: Sean Murphy
  • OF: Ronald Acuña Jr., Michael Harris II, Alex Verdugo
  • DH: Marcell Ozuna

Pitchers will be selected through a separate process—not via fan vote.

Among these nine, six have previously made All-Star teams: Acuña, Albies, Murphy, Olson, Ozuna, and Riley.

Last year, Ozuna was the only Braves position player to earn a spot. With the All-Star Game at Truist Park on July 15 this year, the stakes (and emotions) are higher.

As expected, the ballot leans on established names. Ronald Acuña Jr., back from injury, is making his case loud and clear with a red-hot return: .342 average, 1.036 OPS, 3 HRs, 6 RBIs in just 10 games. If the goal is to vote for the most electric player in baseball, he’s already climbing that list—again.

The most controversial inclusion? Sean Murphy over breakout rookie Drake Baldwin. Baldwin has outperformed Murphy this season, but the ballot always reflects the primary starter, not necessarily the guy with the best stats.

Still, write-in votes are an option if you want Baldwin at the All-Star Game. And even if he doesn’t get in as a starter, reserves are selected post-vote—so there’s still hope.

Phase one of voting runs through June 26. After that, the top vote-getters at each position will move to phase two, which runs from June 30 to July 2, where fans finalize the starting lineups.

This All-Star Game isn’t just a celebration—it’s a showcase for the host city. Between the game at Truist Park on July 15 and the Home Run Derby on July 14, Atlanta is about to be the center of the baseball universe.
