The San Francisco Giants pulled off a statement win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday night, hammering the defending World Series champions 9-3 at Dodger Stadium. But while the scoreline alone was enough to grab attention, it was the postgame celebration from three Giants players that exploded across social media within minutes.

After the final out, NBC Sports cameras caught Jung Hoo Lee, Drew Gilbert, and Harrison Bader gathered together in center field performing a bizarre synchronized celebration that instantly left viewers stunned. The trio crowded together and began thrusting against each other, a move many fans online struggled to understand.

Clips of the moment spread rapidly across X, with reactions ranging from confusion to outright disbelief.

“Wtf lol,” one user wrote.

“That is gross,” another posted.

One frustrated Giants fan reacted by saying, “What the f*** is happening to my team man.”

Others focused on Lee, the South Korean outfielder who joined Major League Baseball amid huge expectations this season. One viral comment joked: “Jung Hoo Lee’s mind rn: ‘man Americans are odd creatures.’”

Bader Returns as Giants Capitalize Late

The strange celebration quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the night, overshadowing what was otherwise a massive victory for San Francisco against one of baseball’s biggest rivals.

The win also marked Harrison Bader’s first game back after suffering a hamstring injury in March. Speaking afterward, the center fielder said he felt “good” physically and was eager to contribute again.

“I’m looking forward to helping this team win,” Bader told reporters after returning to the lineup.

On the field, Rafael Devers delivered early damage with a home run before later drawing a bases-loaded walk that broke a seventh-inning tie. Willy Adames followed with a two-run single as the Giants blew the game open against a Dodgers bullpen that continues to unravel.

Dodgers Slide Continues Amid Offensive Struggles

Los Angeles has now lost eight of its last 12 games, including three straight lopsided defeats at home. The offense has become a major concern. During that stretch, the Dodgers have scored three runs or fewer in nine games.

Shohei Ohtani finished 0-for-5 with two strikeouts and has now been held hitless in 19 of his 37 games with a plate appearance this season. Mookie Betts returned from the injured list and went 1-for-5 in his first appearance since April 4.

For San Francisco, the victory ended a brutal seven-game road losing streak and marked the team’s first consecutive wins since late April. The Giants entered the night with a 17-24 record and badly needed momentum.

Instead, by the end of the night, baseball fans were talking less about the standings and more about one very strange celebration in center field.
